The Wraith by Joe Hill

I got this free from NetGalley for a honest review.

I read Nos4a2 earlier this year and thought it was freaky as hell. I kept telling everybody I know that if they ever make it into a movie that the imagery will scare me to bits. So when I saw that this graphic novel was available; I jumped at the chance to read it. I’m a fan of graphic novels so that was another plus factor. The Wraith is a prequel to Nos4a2 book so you can read it as a stand alone or read it as a companion novel. The story is about Charlie Manx the evil man who runs Christmasland and the people who were caught in his wraith. I learn more about his background which was great because Nos4a2 only gave hints. The graphics were creepy as well. The evil children gave me chills and to actually see what they look like was disturbing. Overall I enjoyed it and would recommend this graphic novel to fans of Joe Hill and the horror genre.

Anonymous asked: My characters are white because they're the 'default' race for me, a mixup of everything. I see no benefits in making them a certain ethnicity just to improve diversity? And it makes sense to me that the supporting cast are also white (1)

This is a book store called El Ateneo in Buenos Aires, Argentina! You can have coffee while sitting on the stage. One of my favorite places in my city.

It’s a BOOKSTORE?!

there are balconies where you can sit to read too

and that’s the stage where you can have a coffee :)

This is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.
